Learn to Ride

If you've always wanted to ride a motorcycle, would like to see if it's for you, or if you'd like to learn new or brush up on existing skills, consider taking a motorcycle training course. I'm a MSF certified RiderCoach, and a few times a month I teach the Basic Rider Course to people just like you.

I teach for Team Arizona, and if you take a course with us, I promise you will have more fun than you thought possible! And you will learn to do things you never thought possible!

It's usually a two-day course, we let you use our bike, and we'll even loan you a helmet if you need one. You'll start with the basics like using the clutch and balancing the motorcycle, and before you know it you'll be shifting, turning and practicing emergency maneuvers. It's a very controlled environment, and fun and safety is our priority.
A rare male-only class.
You'll have classroom time and riding time, and there is a written and skills test at the end of the second day. If you pass, you'll earn your motorcycle endorsement for your drivers license, and won't have to take either test at the DMV. Just bring the card and they'll issue a new license for you that makes you legal to ride!

Most of the classes I've taught are at least 25% women, so, ladies, don't be intimidated. Sometimes you are the best riders in the course.

If you don't live in Arizona, consider taking a winter break here and take a course with us. Most states honor safety course completion from other states. You can't beat the weather, and all the Team Arizona RiderCoaches are top notch. We also offer more advanced courses in which you can use your own motorcycle, practice with a passenger, and also get private lessons. They're fun, help you feel more comfortable, and will challenge your skills in a safe environment.
